Word to your mother, Schmoes! Have you ever heard a tune that grabs a hold of you so tightly that it made you feel as if you were a harpoon, soaring through the air daily and nightly? I personally experience this sensation on a daily basis, thanks to bands like Failure, Brutus, Helms Alee, and Daughter, just to name a few. But what's really got my blood pumping today is a glorious mash-up posted by the Joe UK site, featuring all the main characters of HBO's GAME OF THRONES spittin' out the lyrics to Vanilla Ice's 1990 classic "Ice Ice Baby."
Honestly, I don't know if it gets any better than Lena Headey's Cersei Lannister rapping "To the extreme I rock a mic like a vandal. Light up a stage and wax a chump like a candle." Oh wait, there's also the part when Diana Rigg's Olenna Tyrell busts "Dance, bum rush a speaker that booms. I'm killing your brain like a poisonous mushroom." Ha! Considering what Olenna did to Joffrey Lannister in Season 4, this segment of the mash-up is pure gold!
While swarms of fans are still divided on the show's series finale, I'm fairly certain that we can all get behind this ingenious mash-up in which the full cast of GAME OF THRONES, including Jon Snow, Varys, Littlefinger, The Hound, Cersei Lannister, Olenna Tyrell, Daenerys Targaryen, Jorah Mormont, Tyrion Lannister, Ser Bronn of the Blackwater, Ned Stark, Robert Baratheon, Melisandre, Davos Seaworth, Stannis Baratheon, Arya Stark, Jaime Lannister, Brienne of Tarth, Tywin Lannister, Samwell Tarly, Theon Greyjoy, Ygritte, Tormund Giantsbane, Catelyn Stark, Robb Stark, Tommen Baratheon, Khal Drogo, Joffrey Baratheon, Maester Aemon, Walder Frey, Sansa Stark, Osha, Qyburn, Bran Stark, The High Sparrow, Ramsey Bolton, the Three-Eyed Raven, Yara Greyjoy, Balon Greyjoy, Grand Maester Pycelle and Hodor are prepared to face any problem head on, and solve it.
