Colin Trevorrow’s Jurassic World short film is now online

Last night, FX hosted the premiere of BATTLE AT BIG ROCK, a short film directed by JURASSIC WORLD's Colin Trevorrow that takes place between the events of JURASSIC WORLD: FALLEN KINGDOM and the third JURASSIC WORLD film, which Trevorrow is currently developing with screenwriter Emily Carmichael.

Starring André Holland, Natalie Martinez, Melody Hurd, and Pierson Salvador, BATTLE AT BIG ROCK is about

a family on a camping trip to Big Rock National Park, about 20 miles from where the last film ended. There have been a few sightings, but this is the first major confrontation between dinosaurs and humans.

It's okay if you missed BATTLE AT BIG ROCK's FX premiere, because the short was posted online immediately after it aired on TV.

BATTLE AT BIG ROCK is pretty cool, providing some thrilling dino action that serves as a set-up for the fact that the next JURASSIC WORLD movie is going to be about dinosaurs and humans sharing space in the United States.

That next JURASSIC WORLD movie won't be reaching theatres until June 11, 2021, but you can see BATTLE AT BIG ROCK right here, right now. And be sure to stick with it through the end credits.
