Clooney directs Damon?

Matt Damon and George Clooney are a rare breed a actors we can never get enough of, even if they make 3 or 4 movies a year each – overexposure is not a word when it comes to those two. Even better is one directing the other, AND in a film written by the awesome Aaron Sorkin.

According to Female First, ’cause when Damon’s there no other guy stands a chance, Clooney wants to direct Damon in THE CHALLENGE, which Sorkin has been attached to write for a few months now.The story would follow the real-life courtroom case of a Guantanamo Bay detainee and the navy officer who successfully defended him from an unconstitutional treatment.

The “report” was gathered out of Damon’s own claims on the red carpet for THE INFORMANT‘s premiere recently, so nothing official should be concluded right away. But still, I’m up for Clooney to direct A FEW GOOD DAMON.
