Clip released for Dave Franco’s directorial debut The Rental

Two couples looking to celebrate their seed money from a new business venture, embark on a weekend getaway to a seemingly perfect house they’ve booked online. While the clip isn't much to go on as to what the quality of the actual film will be (as is true with any promotional material, if you think about it), it does at least look stylish, and the performances from the actors suitably subtle. Color me intrigued.

Meanwhile THE RENTAL – which stars Alison Brie, Dan Stevens, Sheila Vand, Jeremy Allen White and written by Franco and Joe Swanberg – will come to theaters and VOD July 24th.
