This past Sunday saw the debut of WGN America's witch-themed series "Salem" and word is that it was a strong premiere that set up what could be a very exciting (and scary) season of quality television. Unfortunately I haven't gotten around to checking it out yet but will try to rectify that before this upcoming Sunday's second episode titled 'The Stone Child'.

“With witch fears rising, Alden seeks the truth of what’s really going on in Salem while Cotton continues to wrestle with his guilt and Mary looks to execute a plan. A clue in the woods leads Cotton and Isaac to find more evidence that the witches may indeed be real.“
