If you happen to be in the greater Los Angeles area, you might just catch a glimpse of Brie Larson as Carol Danvers, now that production on CAPTAIN MARVEL has officially begun!
When the film soars into theaters beginning on March 8, 2019, Marvel will share a story that follows Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the universe’s most powerful heroes when Earth is caught in the middle of a galactic war between two alien races. Set in the 1990s, CAPTAIN MARVEL is an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Larson, who’s publicly stated that she was once nervous about stepping into the superhero role, has recently been seen learning from real-life military professionals while training for the role. In fact, as a part of the most recent update from Marvel, the studio tweeted a photo of Larson receiving instructions from General Jeannie Leavitt, 57th Wing Commander, while visitng Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada.

It’s also worth noting that, after production wraps in Los Angeles, the film will then set up camp in the following locations: Fresno, California, as well as locations in Louisiana, including Baton Rouge and New Orleans.
