*Mild Sauce Spoiler Alert*
Yesterday Disney held their big presentation teasing all of their upcoming projects, including all the good stuff they have planned now that they own Fox and all of their properties (More APES! More ALIENS!). Of course, all of that is small potatoes compared to the biggest project on their slate, which no doubt is this month’s AVENGERS: ENDGAME, and despite keeping things very close to the chest Disney graced the CinemaCon audience with a fresh clip from the movie, and our own Paul Shirey is here to give you the lowdown about what went…down.
As he warns at the start of the video, and as you can see above, the reaction does contain some mild spoilers for the movie. Nothing of incredibly important detail was revealed, and based off the trailers you can already piece some of it together already. But still, for those wanting to go in fresh then you should turn back around and get back under that handsome rock you picked out.

Now, what the video details is a scene that seems to pick up not too far after where the mid-credits scene from CAPTAIN MARVEL leaves off, with the team including Marvel (Brie Larson), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Captain America (Chris Evans), War Machine (Don Cheadle), Rocket (Bradley Cooper), Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo) and Thor (Chris Hemsworth) going over their plan to take on Thanos. As Paul says, Marvel is all “piss and vinegar” and wants to blast off and take down the Mad Titan that very instant. But pump the brakes, Ms. Danvers, because the rest of the team has dealt with this business plenty and believe a plan of attack is needed. The remainder of the clip has the team going over options, thinking about where Thanos may be and all that good stuff. How it ends is in a moment we saw teased in the earlier trailers, with the team getting into the Milano and blasting off into space to take on the purple baddie.

What we can take from this is that, possibly, some of the heroes try to take on Thanos before the ultimate climax, of which would also have to involve the likes of Ant-Man, Iron Man, and others not involved in this scene. Maybe they fail? Perhaps after this is when they discover the only way to take him down is for them all to come together once again. As a three-hour movie, it would seem weird to have only one showdown with Thanos, and I imagine several fights akin to what we saw in INFINITY WAR.
So, if you made it through all that, what do you make of that footage description? We’re three weeks away (!!) from those first Thursday screenings, so it won’t be long before you see this all for yourself.
AVENGERS: ENDGAME is in theaters April 26, and be sure to stick to the JoBlo Twitter for more CinemaCon updates.
