What is Cinemacon? Well, I'm glad you asked. Cinemacon is the Official Convention of The National Association of Theater Owners (NATO), where studios debut exclusive presentations on their upcoming slate for the next year and exhibitors and trade organizations share the latest and greatest in theatrical technology and entertainment. So, kind of like Comic Con for just movies.
In addition, celebrities and filmmakers are on hand to help promote and create buzz for the films they're involved in, supplying interviews and taking part in promotional activities in support of their films. It's a bunch of cool info, cool footage, and cool gathering, all under the roof of Las Vegas. First up is a batch of new and posters, banners, and theater standees from the main Cinemacon floor at The Colisseum. You'll notice first looks at posters for THE GIRL ON THE TRAIN, PATRIOT'S DAY, HELL OR HIGH WATER (formerly COMANCHERIA), and more, as well as some familiar peeks at upcoming releases.
