Chucky TV show’s cast gets rounded out, includes Devon Sawa!

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

Collider reports that the victims – I mean, cast – are being rounded up for the upcoming Chucky TV series from franchise creator Don Mancini, which includes none other than Devon Sawa (Casper, Fanatic)! He is joined by Zackary Arthur (Transparent), Teo Briones (Ratched), Bjorgvin Arnarson (PEN15) and Alyvia Alyn Lind (The Young and the Restless), according to the article. The article also states that franchise mainstay – and voice of Chucky (save last year's remake) – Brad Dourif will also be involved in the series, alongside other franchise mainstay Jennifer Tilly

Here's the official synopsis:

The series begins when a vintage Chucky doll turns up at a suburban yard sale and an idyllic American town is thrown into chaos as a series of horrifying murders begin to expose the town’s hypocrisies and secrets. Meanwhile, the arrival of enemies — and allies — from Chucky’s past threatens to expose the truth behind the killings, as well as the demon doll’s untold origins as a seemingly ordinary child who somehow became this notorious monster. That's right… we're going to see Charles Lee Ray as a little boy!

Meanwhile, Chucky is expected to premiere on USA/SYFY sometime in 2022!

So what do you guys think? Fans of the Child's Play series? If so, looking forward to the new show? Either way, sound off below!
