Christopher Plummer wants more in All the Money in the World trailer

"J. Paul Getty had a fortune. Everyone else paid the price." With less than two months to go before the release of ALL THE MONEY IN THE WORLD, Ridley Scott wasn't about to let the cast and crew pay the price for the sexual assault allegations quickly circling Kevin Spacey. The director made the bold choice to recast Spacey's role and reshoot portions of the film in order to make its December release date. Christopher Plummer stepped in to play billionaire J. Paul Getty and those reshoots came to an end today, prompting the release of a TV spot and now, a brand-new trailer showcasing even more of Christopher Plummer. It's looking good.

Even if you put aside the allegations against Kevin Spacey, I've got to say that Christopher Plummer feels like a much better fit for the character. As daunting as reshooting a major role so close to release would likely be to a lesser director, Ridley Scott never once doubted his abilities. "Because I know I can deliver. [Laughs] I move like lightning," Scott said. "I’m already two scenes ahead. It’s simple! If you know what you’re doing, you don’t need 19 takes. You do one for the actor, one for me. It’s all planned out."

The official synopsis for ALL THE MONEY IN THE WORLD:
