Christoph Waltz could be up for a role in Bond 24

The cast for BOND 24 could be set up shortly and the latest news surrounding the film is that two-time Academy Award winner Christoph Waltz (INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS, DJANGO UNCHAINED) is set to join. Daily Mail columnist Baz Bamigboye tweeted the news earlier today, and with a history of solid leads when it comes to Bond news this could very well be official very soon. The still-untitled Bond entry directed by Sam Mendes will also star Daniel Craig, Léa Seydoux, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw and Dave Bautista.

Shooting is expected to start on a few weeks so more details about the story and cast should be arriving soon. It would be an easy guess to say Waltz is going to be playing the antagonist in the film; he sure could make for a memorable Bond villain if you ask me. He could be taking the role over from Chiwetel Ejiofor who was in talks before.

The busy actor can be seen his fall and holiday season in two potential hits, HORRIBLE BOSSES 2 on November 26 and Tim Burton's BIG EYES on Christmas day.

In the meantime we will keep you posted on any and all BOND 24 news; the movie is set for release on November 6, 2016.
