One of the biggest questions on everyone's mind after the Walt Disney Company finalized their acquisition of 20th Century Fox and other entertainment assets revolves around the fate of Marvel's Merc with a Mouth, Deadpool. Will the assassin in the red pajamas become a victim of censorship going forward? Will Wade truly be free to engage in more R-rated romps on the big screen now that the House of Mouse holds his chimichanga in their vice-like grip? In the past, Disney Chairman and CEO Bob Iger has said that Disney will continue to make R-rated Deadpool movies and other adult-oriented Marvel adventures, though I still feel as if this is a 'wait and see' type of situation. Can we really trust the ever-growing entertainment Voltron that is Disney to keep their word, or will the pressure to maintain the MCU's PG-13 course ultimately win out in the end? I suppose that only time will tell, and so far the studio has not revealed any official plans to welcome Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool into the fold.
Be that as it may, that's not going to stop Thor actor Chris Hemsworth from extending his mighty hammer to Reynolds' 'Pool, even if it's a far tinier version than the weapon we've come to know and love.
Today, Hemsworth took to his Instagram account to share a new piece of fan art that depicts Deadpool sporting Thor's stylish helmet as well as a hilariously tiny version of Mjolnir. The photo was posted in jest, of course, though perhaps this is Hemsworth's way of nudging himself into one of the GREEN LANTERN actor's classic celebrity feuds?

Aww! Would you look at the size of that hammer? It's so cute! Heh. I'm also enjoying Wade's one squinty eye, signaling to fans that he's not at all amused by the God of Thunder's welcoming-yet-backhanded gesture of camaraderie. Is this the beginning of a new and beautiful prank war? Do you think that Reynolds will respond? And if so, how? Do I smell a bromance crossover on the wind? Or is that just Wade farting in Thor's general direction? Let us know what you think in the comments section below.
