Child’s Play remake website holds fun surprises & killer posters

MGM's upcoming remake of Tom Holland and Don Mancini's killer doll classic CHILD'S PLAY from director Lars Klevberg (POLAROID) had started filming with Aubrey Plaza (LEGION) as Andy's Mom, Brian Tyree Henry (ATLANTA) as Mike and Gabriel Bateman (LIGHTS OUT) as Andy. And today we have word that the remake's official website is now open and ready for business. The site is cleverly going by the name BestBuddi.com. 

The new site functions as a JOKE sales site for the new doll. As you can see from the image above, the website gives us a little bit more info on what makes this new Chucky different than the original classic. For instance, now you can operate Chucky from your tablet, remote control on your cell phone, and the little guy even comes with "advanced programming" for your home computer. Looks like the perfect Christmas gift to me!

Not much else is on the site just yet, but it does sport some killer new posters (which are actually phone backgrounds), and while 2 of them are posters and pics we have already seen, there's a batch that are actually pretty damn fun – and festive! You can check them out below!

The official synopsis reads:

Child’s Play follows a mother (Plaza) who gives her son (Bateman) a toy doll for his birthday, unaware of its more sinister nature.

The remake is directed by Lars Klevberg (POLAROID) from a screenplay written by KUNG FURY 2 writer Tyler Burton Smith with STEPHEN KING'S IT producers David Katzenberg and Seth Grahame-Smith producing. Aaron Schmidt and Chris Ferguson executive produced. Beatrice Kitsos, Ty Consiglio, and Carlease Burke co-star. CHILD'S PLAY stalks and slashes its tiny terrifying ass into your local multiplex come June 21, 2019.
