I don't know if I can say I was 100% in on the upcoming season of AMERICAN HORROR STORY, or AHS: ELECTION, when I first heard about it. I mean I always give the new seasons a try, but I didn't make it past episode two of either HOTEL or ROANOKE. Just not my thing(s).
That said, I was sold on the new season when we learned a while back that SCREAM QUEENS star Billie Lourd (aka Carrie Fischer's daughter) was joining the cast. As you may know, I loved the first season of SCREAM QUEENS (or, more specifically, every episode other than the dogsh*t finale), and actress Billie Lourd was one of the best things about that show's first season. The other two things were Emma Roberts and Skyler Samuels (see below).
Anyhow, I am already down for AHS: ELECTION, but if I wasn't, this new pic showrunner Ryan Murphy posted to Instagram may have won me over. I love this thing and can only hope it is a new slasher mask used by someone (Trump?) to straight up murder the ass off every new character this season just as they are starting to get interesting. In typical AHS fashion, of course.
I can only hope at some point they spray paint it orange… AHS: ELECTION is set to star Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Billy Eichner, and Bille Lourd and is set to air sometime in 2017.
