Yes, things are officially rolling on the second season of AMC’s mega-hit “The Walking Dead.” For proof, you need not look any further than the video below, which just hit AMC’s official site. It’s a behind-the-scenes peek at the first day of filming on the series, which just got underway in Atlanta.

You’ll see dead bodies and some blood, as well as your favorite returning characters (still no Rooker, though). The thing that’s most obvious is that it’s hot as f*cking hell in Georgia; it’s evident in all of the participants’ faces. No one said making a blockbuster TV show was easy.

“The Walking Dead” comes to life again this October. Everybody ready?!
