Evidently, the original 13 CAMERAS must have been a solid enough flick because today we have word that Gravitas Ventures have acquired worldwide rights to the highly-anticipated sequel. And today we have the new movie’s trailer and poster for your viewing pleasure.
Directed by Scott Hussion and Seth Fuller 14 CAMERAS follows a family renting a house for summer vacation… only to realize the house’s landlord is none other than the super-creep from the first film. That sucks. More specifically, the film begins:
When a family of four rent a beautiful house for their summer vacation, the price seems too good to be true. Unbeknownst to them, the lascivious owner (Archambault) has set up a series of spy cams throughout the house, documenting their most intimate moments and live-streaming them to the dark web.
Written by Victor Zarcoff, 14 CAMERAS stars Neville Archambault (13 CAMERAS), Amber Midthunder (LEGION), Chelsea Edmundson (THUNDER ROAD) and Brianne Moncrief (13 CAMERAS). It was produced by Fuller and Hussion. Andrew van den Houten (THE RANGER), Jordan Rudman (FUNERAL KINGS) and The McManus Bros. (writers of Netflix’s AMERICAN VANDAL) are executive producing.
The film will be released in theaters and on demand nationwide on July 27th so make sure to mark your calendars. Until then make sure to check out the trailer and poster below and then let us know what you think! I never saw the original film but maybe I will add it to my queue soon.
