Turns out Antonio Banderas has a new flick coming out. It’s called BLACK BUTTERFLY, and it is being labeled a suspenseful action drama, adapted from acclaimed French thriller PAPILLON NOIR.
Papillion Noir in French translates to, you guess it, Black Butterfly.
Banderas stars in the film as a reclusive writer struggling to start his career-changing screenplay, while in the local town there has been a series of murder, and abductions, and such.
Now what better way to stay safe during said murders and abductions than to invite the drifter you got into a fight with at the bar back to your secluded house for the weekend? During a storm that cuts off the power to the place? Turns out that’s just what Banderas’ character does. I’m thinking things don’t go very well.
Also, I don’t know about you, but I am getting a real strong SECRET WINDOW vibe from this flick. But maybe that’s just me… Anyhow, you can check out the film’s cool poster below, along with the official trailer. Enjoy!
