Later this year, the second season of Stephen King’s new TV series MR. MERCEDES will be premiering over on the AT&T Network. I haven’t watched the first season yet, but it is high on my must-see list. If you did catch season one when it aired last year, then you might want to check out this new trailer for season 2.
Season one starred Brendan Gleeson as:
A retired police detective, who along with a teenage black boy and a neurotic woman, forms an unlikely group of heroes who stop a killer known as Mr. Mercedes from detonating a bomb during a sold-out pop concert. Mr. Mercedes is the first installment in the Bill Hodges trilogy.
Season one co-starred Harry Treadaway as killer Brady Hartsfield, Jharrel Jerome as Hodges’ teenage sidekick Jerome Robinson, Mary-Louise Parker as the strong-willed Janey Patterson, Holland Taylor as Hodges’ prickly neighbor Ida Silver, Kelly Lynch as Brady’s complicated mother, Scott Lawrence as Detective Peter Dixon, Robert Stanton as Anthony “Robi” Frobisher, Ann Cusack as Olivia Trelawney, Justine Lupe as Holly Gibney, and Breeda Wool as Lou Linklatter.
Again, I haven’t had the time to check out the first season yet, so I’m just going to be playing it safe here today and skipping by this new trailer. No spoilers, right? Just in case, I’m just going to push on with my day and update my must-watch list to include season one before season 2 hits.
And speaking of which, MR. MERCEDES S2 will feature ten-episodes just like the first season, and those ten episodes are all set to premiere on the AT&T Audience Network August 22.
