Earlier today we shared with you guys the full trailer for Netflix and Adam Wingard's upcoming adaptation of DEATH NOTE (you can check out that trailer right HERE btw). That flick is set to hit the global streaming service on August 25th, and today we have yet another trailer for yet another flick hitting on the same day.
This movie is called POLAROID. You may remember stories on the flick we posted HERE and HERE. We also received a poster for the film – which you can check out below – but today is all about the new trailer.
Now I'm sure that this film is going to be PG-13. Is that a bad thing? Meh. It really depends on if they make the film FOR teens – meaning dumbing shite down for the Friday night masses – or if they go psychological, in which case there is no need for gore.
Either way, the film will be hitting theaters this August so make sure to check out the new trailer and then let us know what you think on Facebook, Twitter, and/or Instagram!
Here is the rundown on POLAROID via press release:
From the producers of THE RING and THE GRUDGE, comes the next iconic horror franchise: POLAROID. High school loner Bird Fitcher has no idea what dark secrets are tied to the Polaroid vintage camera she stumbles upon, but it doesn’t take long to discover that those who have their picture taken meet a tragic end. Based on the short by Lars Klevberg, the story mixes elements of THE RING and FINAL DESTINATION to create one of the most unique and scary films.
POLAROID stars Kathryn Prescott, Mitch Pileggi, Grace Zabriskie, Tyler Young, Keenan Tracey, Samantha Logan, Priscilla Quintana, Madelaine Petsch and Javier Botet.
POLAROID is set to be released August 25, 2017.
