The December movie image dump has arrived! Some new and first stills from LIKE CRAZY, jOBS, PRINCE AVALANCHE, THE EAST, and LOVELACE are showing us diverse film choices for 2013.
Though I may be reluctant when it comes to Ashton Kutcher taking on the role of Steve Jobs, I must say that he does look a hell of a lot like him. I must also say that the first thing I thought of when I saw the still from David Gordon Green’s PRINCE AVALANCHE, I immediately thought of Mario Bros. Also, the photo of Amanda Seyfried from LOVELACE sort of terrifies me.
Check out all the photos below.
jOBS (starring Ashton Kutcher, Dermot Mulroney, Josh Gad, Lukas Haas, J.K. Simmons and Matthew Modine): The true story of one of the greatest entrepreneurs in American history, jOBS chronicles the defining 30 years of Steve Jobs’ life. jOBS is a candid, inspiring and personal portrait of the one who saw things differently.
LIKE CRAZY (starring Felicity Jones, Amy Ryan, and Guy Pearce): When a foreign exchange student arrives in a small upstate New York town, she challenges the dynamics of her host family’s relationships and alters their lives forever.
LOVELACE (starring Amanda Seyfried, Peter Sarsgaard, James Franco, Adam Brody, Sharon Stone): Deep Throat, the first pornographic feature film to be a mainstream success, was an international sensation in 1972 and made its star, Linda Lovelace, a media darling. Years later the “poster girl for the sexual revolution” revealed a darker side to her story.
PRINCE AVALANCHE (starring Paul Rudd and Emile Hirsch): Two highway road workers spend the summer of 1988 away from their city lives. The isolated landscape becomes a place of misadventure as the men find themselves at odds with each other and the women they left behind.
THE EAST (starring Alexander Skarsgård, Ellen Page, Patricia Clarkson): An operative for an elite private intelligence firm goes into deep cover to infiltrate a mysterious anarchist collective attacking major corporations. Bent on apprehending these fugitives, she finds her loyalty tested as her feelings grow for the group’s charismatic leader.
