Looks like David has given up dying his hair. And he's regained a body!
Here's a look at Ridley Scott and Michael Fassbender on the set of ALIEN: COVENANT, which is now shooting in Australia. The film is, of course, both a sequel to PROMETHEUS and a prequel to ALIEN, and it'll try to make up for the disappointment plenty of fans felt after the former was released a few years ago by adding actual xenomorphs into the mix. Also, it's likely Katherine Waterston is playing Ellen Ripley's mother… for some reason.
I am glad Fassbender's artificial human character has his head on shoulders once again, but I must admit I'm missing the blond locks.
Scheduled for release on August 4, 2017, ALIEN COVENANT goes like this:
Bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, the crew of the colony ship Covenant discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world — whose sole inhabitant is the "synthetic" David (Michael Fassbender), survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition.
In addition to Waterston and Fassbender, ALIEN: COVENANT stars Danny McBride, Billy Crudup, Demián Bichir, Jussie Smollett, Carmen Ejogo and Amy Seimetz.
