Next month, Antonio Campos will be bringing THE DEVIL ALL THE TIME, a drama based on Donald Ray Pollock's novel of the same name, to Netflix, and while we don't know much about the film at this time, it certainly features one hell of a cast. While speaking with Entertainment Weekly, Campos said that the film is "a multi-strand narrative set between the end of World War II and the beginning of America’s involvement in Vietnam in which a motley group of characters’ lives all intersect."
THE DEVIL ALL THE TIME stars Tom Holland, Robert Pattinson, Bill Skarsgård, Riley Keough, Jason Clarke, Sebastian Stan, Haley Bennett, Mia Wasikowska, and Eliza Scanlen, and you can check out a couple of first look photos from the upcoming Netflix film below.
Antonia Campos co-wrote the screenplay with his brother, Paulo. "It was a hard book to adapt also because there was so much that we loved," Campos said. "I’m a big fan of southern gothic and noir and this was a perfect marriage of the two. Sometimes you might be adapting a piece and you think like, Well, there is a seed of a good idea here and I’ll just throw everything away and start from scratch. In this case it was like, we love everything!"
THE DEVIL ALL THE TIME will debut on Netflix on September 16, 2020.
