As the ongoing coronavirus crisis has left many of us spending much more time in our homes than usual, Hollywood has taken a few steps to make the transition a little easier by giving a handful of movies an early Digital release. Two of the many films receiving that early release are BIRDS OF PREY from Warner Bros. and BLOODSHOT from Sony Pictures, and the studios have each released a nearly ten-minute extended preview of each film.
Check 'em out below!
You ever hear the one about the cop, the songbird, the psycho and the mafia princess? Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) is a twisted tale told by Harley herself, as only Harley can tell it. When Gotham’s most nefariously narcissistic villain, Roman Sionis, and his zealous right-hand, Zsasz, put a target on a young girl named Cass, the city is turned upside down looking for her. Harley, Huntress, Black Canary and Renee Montoya’s paths collide, and the unlikely foursome have no choice but to team up to take Roman down.
Based on the bestselling comic book, Vin Diesel stars as Ray Garrison, a soldier recently killed in action and brought back to life as the superhero Bloodshot by the RST corporation. With an army of nanotechnology in his veins, he’s an unstoppable force –stronger than ever and able to heal instantly. But in controlling his body, the company has sway over his mind and memories, too. Now, Ray doesn’t know what’s real and what’s not – but he’s on a mission to find out.
Both BIRDS OF PREY and BLOODSHOT are now available digitally, so if the above clips caught your interest, you've got your evening all planned out. Some of the other films which have received a Digital release, or soon will, include THE INVISIBLE MAN, THE HUNT, EMMA, ONWARD, THE GENTLEMEN, THE WAY BACK, I STILL BELIEVE, SONIC THE HEDGEHOG, and BAD BOYS FOR LIFE.
