Check out director Alex Proyas’ new short film Phobos

Like most of the rest of you fellow horror movie fans out there, we're all massive fans of director Alex Proyas here at AITH. From his stellar work on classics such as THE CROW and DARK CITY, Proyas is still a filmmaker we keep a close eye on. And speaking of which, today we wanted to make sure and share a brand new short film by Proyas called PHOBOS.

For those of you out there (like me) who were unaware, Phobos means "fear" in Greek. The more you know, right? Anyhow, the film was written and directed by Proyas in 2019 exclusively for Youtube and is described as

A deeply disturbing exploration of the age we live in. Seen through the eyes of a young woman, who loses her car one evening, and then can't shake the feeling something is following her home.

Moo-Haha.

Personally, the short film reminds me a good bit of writer-director David Lynch's debut classic ERASERHEAD. You'll see what I mean once you give the full short film a look-see yourself. You can check out the full short film below and then make sure to hit us up and let us know what you think!
