Check out a cool peek at the special effects and voices of Dreamworks Rise of the Guardians

Now that we’re transitioning into the holiday season it seems that no other film is quite as thematically appropriate as Dreamworks RISE OF THE GUARDIANS. Starring the voice talents of Alec Baldwin, Chris Pine, Hugh Jackman, Isla Fisher, and Jude Law, the Guillermo Del Toro produced pic is an adaptation of William Joyce’s series of novels. As a fan of both the holidays and animation, this is shaping up to be the must-see family pic for me and mine. I mean, I’m sure my three year old would love DJANGO UNCHAINED…if it was animated and had Power Rangers and Ninja Turtles, anyway.

Here we have a few featurettes from the film, which are actually pretty cool. I’m always fascinated by the development process for movies in general, but with animation it’s particularly mind boggling how they render effects and match up the dialogue. It’s sometimes painstaking just to watch, but ever so cool.
