Chasing Nightmares with Anne Heche & Graham McTavish now filming

Producer David Brown’s new genre label Specter Pictures announced today that the first film under this new banner will be writer-director Christopher McGowan's horror/thriller CHASING NIGHTMARES.

And today we've learned that the film is all set to star Anne Heche (Gus Van Sant's PSYCHO), Graham McTavish (THE HOBBIT TRILOGY), and Michelle Randolph (A SNOW WHITE CHRISTMAS and HOUSE OF THE WITCH).

While the plot is being kept under wraps, the film is said to center on 

A college student (Michelle Randolph) who risks her and her friends’ lives to track down the meaning behind the nightmares she has about a girl and a delusional masked man. 

Brown said in a statement:

Our company has been growing and expanding, and Specter Pictures is a part of this process.  We look forward to working with Anne, Christopher, and Michelle on this exciting project, and bringing it to audiences in markets globally.

Written and directed by Christopher McGowan CHASING NIGHTMARES is produced by David Brown with Todd Lundbohm. Spencer Daniels, Aubrey Cleland, Jay Huguley, and Dana Daurey rounding out the cast. The film is currently shooting in Los Angeles.  We'll keep you updated!
