Charlize Theron has chopped off her flowing locks for Fast 9

Whatever hair the main cast of the FAST AND FURIOUS movies lack, Charlize Theron’s character in the eighth installment made up for. Theron’s computer hacking villain Cipher stole the show and ensnared viewers with her mop of blonde dreadlocks in FATE OF THE FURIOUS, but in the ninth installment, she’s chopped off the flowing locks and is opting for something that should make it less easy to spot her in a crowd.

Theron took to social media to show off her new look, which finds most of her hair gone in place of a short, more practical cut, but also hints that as her hair gets shorter the more likely it is she’s going to end up joining the team along with Vin Diesel and Tyrese.

Theron’s Cipher threw the team for a loop in THE FATE OF THE FURIOUS, wherein she forced Dom Toretto (Diesel) into doing some nasty business for her as she terrorized the planet and unleashed a mob of cars on Manhattan. While the team won out in the end Cipher was able to parachute away, and thus go to her nearest hairstylist pronto. Along with Theron another Oscar winner, Helen Mirren, is returning to the series, with newcomers John Cena and Michal Rooker entering the fold.

I like the new look, to be honest, While the first one made it seem like she had no cares in the world as she was running amok and making Diesel her personal errand boy, this time around it looks like she means business and stab a hole in his heart. We have no idea what she has planned for this next installment, but if the hair is gone, then so must be her patience. The team better watch out.
