I wasn't anticipating just how much fun KINGSMAN: THE SECRET SERVICE would be, but the film is a blast each time I watch it. Obviously I wasn't the only one who thought so as the very successful adaptation of Mark Miller's comic will be getting a sequel, KINGSMAN: THE GOLDEN CIRCLE. Many of the characters who survived the events of the first film, and some we thought didn't, will be returning for the Matthew Vaughn directed sequel, but the upcoming film has also been adding some rather cool new actors to its ranks, including Channing Tatum (THE HATEFUL EIGHT), who just announced via Twitter that he will be joining the cast of KINGSMAN: THE GOLDEN CIRCLE.
I'm about to get all up in that Golden Circle. #Kingsman pic.twitter.com/LqCPJ6monO

KINGSMAN: THE GOLDEN CIRCLE will see Gary "Eggsy" Unwin (Taron Egerton) and Merlin (Mark Strong) venturing to the United States after Kingsman headquarters is destroyed. The pair visit the headquarters of their American counterparts, dubbed the Statesman, which is led by Ginger (Halle Berry) and a "swaggering, sharpshooting cowboy" named Jack, which I'm assuming is Channing Tatum's role. Also included in the cast are Julianne Moore, Pedro Pascal, and Elton John; yes, that Elton John.
KINGSMAN: THE GOLDEN CIRCLE will hit theaters on June 16, 2017.
