Inspired by some of the great body horror films from legendary director David Cronenberg, STRANGE BLOOD marks Chad Michael Ward’s feature film debut and we now have its first official trailer. What it’s about:
When a brilliant but obsessive scientist (Brettenaugh) goes to extremes to develop a universal cure for all disease, he finds himself infected with a bizarre parasite that begins to transform him into a bloodthirsty madman. Time is running out, and with the aid of his med student assistant (Bard), he must find a way to stop the monster that is growing within and prevent the rest of the world from being “cured.”
The film is produced by Pearry Teo (Dracula: The Dark Prince, Necromentia, Cloud Atlas) and Rosie Zwaduk. It was written by Teo and Ward and stars Robert Brettenaugh and Alexandra Bard.
