One of the projects being introduced to distributors at the European Film Market this month is writer/director David Raymond's psychological thriller NOMIS, which will tell the story of
an American police force who trap an online predator, only to realize the depth of his crimes goes far beyond anything they had anticipated.
While Fortitude International looks for potential buyers in Berlin, Raymond is gearing up to start production on the film in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada at the end of the month, and he has landed an impressive trio of actors to play the leads.
Set to star in NOMIS are Henry Cavill, Ben Kingsley, and Alexandra Daddario. I'm going to assume that Cavill and Daddario are our hero and heroine, while Kingsley is likely the internet creeper… But maybe Raymond will surprise us with who he chooses to fill which role with.
Raymond is producing NOMIS with Rick Dugdale, Robert Ogden Barnum of Fortitude, Chris Pettit of Arise Pictures, and Jeff Beesley of Buffalo Gals. Fortitude's Nadine De Barros is executive producing.
