The upcoming Hulu, Stephen King, J.J. Abrams series CASTLE ROCK is at the very top of my must-see list for TV. Be damned STRANGER THINGS S2 and everything else. I'm all about my Stephen King TV.
That said, to say the series has been cloaked in mystery or some other such nonsense would be beating a dead bad robot at this point as every human alive knows CASTLE ROCK is a black hole of inside info.
But that all changes (slightly) today as we get the news that the series has cast its first lead actor in the form of MOONLIGHT and AHS: ROANOKE's André Holland. More interesting than this first bit of casting are the character details that were slipped in along the way.
Turns out Holland will be playing "a death row attorney."
Now I know that isn't much to go off, but still, just like the rest of you, my mind went straight to THE GREEN MILE! Will John Coffey perhaps come back in a new form? I don't want to gossip and speculate too much here, but my mind is reeling with possibilities.
We'll let you know when we hear more!
