Things really seem to be heating up on the new Hulu series CASTLE ROCK from the minds of Stephen King and JJ Abrams. It was only the day before yesterday that we passed along the awesome news that the series had cast not only Jane Levy (EVIL DEAD) but also King’s own CARRIE with the addition of Sissy Spacek.
Today the cast grows a bit more with the announcement that HEAVENLY CREATURES and I DON’T FEEL AT HOME IN THIS WORLD ANYMORE actress Melanie Lynskey has just been cast as the female lead in the series opposite André Holland.
Word on the street is that Lynskey will play Molly Strand, “a woman with a rare medical condition who’s barely scraping by as a real estate agent in a town where every third property is the site of someone’s worst nightmare.”
Nice! Every third property is the site of someone’s worst nightmare?! Count me all in. What do you think of this new CASTLE ROCK casting news? Let us know on Facebook, Twitter, and/or Instagram!
