Cast This: Batman

Long time no cast, huh?

The time has now come to cast a role that Christian Bale has fit so nicely. Yes, you guessed it (also helps if you read the title)– BATMAN!

The WB might be looking to reboot the dark knight in 2016. Let’s be honest here, I was not ready to cast a new Batman. It’s sort of like breaking up with an ex. Eventually I’ll move on, but I just need some time. I’m with Christopher Nolan’s line of thinking on this one, “The great thing about Batman is he lives on for future generations to reinterpret.” But if they decide to give the Bat another go in 2016, then why don’t we pass on another origin story and pick up with Bruce Wayne at another time in his life?

When it comes to casting Batman, I think it all really depends on what storyline they decide to go with. But for now, let’s just take a stab at it. Who would you like to see wearing the cowl? Is there someone that you had in mind before Bale was ever cast? Or someone you’ve always thought would be good in the role, but would never get the part?

Oh, and I’ll beat you to it…Nathan Fillion.

We have a big giant five-way…tie that is. If any of these ladies were chosen for the part of The Enchantress in THOR 2, then we would all be very lucky. Which of them best suits the character though? They all look the part. I think Theron might have them all beat with Kruger and Strahovski coming in a very close second. That sure is a nice lady collage though, isn’t it?
