NIGHT OF THE DEMONS remake and FRACTURED director Adam Gierasch is hard at work on his latest horror film, HOUSE BY THE LAKE, and now we've learned who will be facing the terrors within the titular abode's walls.
The Wrap has learned that TV veterans James Callis (“Battlestar Galactica”), Anne Dudek (“Mad Men”), Michael Bowen (“Breaking Bad”) have all joined Anvil Entertainment's horror-thriller HOUSE BY THE LAKE, which recently started production in Big Bear Lake, California. Also signed on to star is "Clementine" actress Amiah Miller.
The film tells the story of the Morgans, a loving yet troubled family hoping to reconnect on their vacation. When their autistic 10-year-old daughter begins to fixate on a mysterious friend who may or may not be real, she retreats further into her own world and family tensions rise to the surface.
Gierasch is directing from a script by Josh Burnell (“Boone: The Bounty Hunter”) with Mike De Trana (STOMPING GROUND) producing through Anvil Entertainment along with Gary King (IN THE BLOOD) and Jace Anderson (FRACTURED, MOTHER OF TEARS).
