CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER turned out to be a real crowd-pleaser, to say the least. While the first had audiences split, the second brought forth a compelling story, and grounded our action heroes so that the events that took place had more weight. So the question is; when can we bring home THE WINTER SOLIDER? That answer is September 9th, 2014, on 3D Blu-ray Combo Pack, Blu-ray, DVD and On-Demand. If you’re not a fan of the physical mediums, you will get to peep out Cap a little early on Digital 3D and HD, August 19th, 2014.

One special feature sadly lacking is the One-Shot series that’s become a tradition on each Marvel DVD/Blu-ray release. As of now, Marvel has confirmed that it is not an error as far as the special features listings go, and that there are currently no plans, one way or the other, to continue them. Perhaps we may see a return of One-Shot when GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY hits DVD/Blu-ray.
