Ever since the Avengers assembled to save New York in the first AVENGERS movie, Captain America (Chris Evans) has always been the de facto leader of the group, capable of inspiring speeches and pep talks to get everyone’s head in the game. So much pain and devastation occurred after Thanos’ (Josh Brolin) snap in INFINITY WAR, so now is the best time for some rallying words from Cap, and in the new spot of AVENGERS: ENDGAME he offers some words for the team before they head out on their most important mission ever. “You know your teams; you know your missions. No mistakes, no do-overs,” Cap says to heroes like Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and more. “Look out for each other. This is the fight of our lives.” They then put their hands in, shout something like “Go, Avengers!” and then give the opposing Wolverines soccer team a game they’ll never forget.
Okay, that last part is purely speculative, but in truth, this is the most we’ve seen relating to that sequence at the end of the second trailer, wherein they’re all wearing those nifty new suits for a special purpose. Other than that, the spot is made up of mostly seen footage, including some action shots and the team blasting off into space. We're officially two weeks out from the main preview screenings of the movie, which will no doubt be packed with fans who flooded the internet last week in order to get those sweet early tickets. That means two weeks from now we will be experiencing, perhaps, the biggest week ever for a single movie that will see theaters packed full and records be demolished. Seems like we all need a little rallying speech of our own here soon.
AVENGERS: ENDGAME is in theaters April 26.
