Like most of you, I go to the cinema for a bit of an escape from the everyday ins and outs. That’s why I’ve only seen two of Michael Moore’s films.
CAPITALISM: A LOVE STORY is basically about the one big ass cloud looming over us, the declining global economy. Moore will take a look at the economy between the Bush and Obama administrations.
Now, I know the documentaries are usually very one sided but at times interesting. Moments that stand out in my mind are the conversation Moore had with Marilyn Manson in BOWLING FOR COLUMBINE, as well as Moore’s visit to Charlton Heston’s home. Heston’s gun collection was huge. I mean, we all knew he loved guns but, wow!
The poster for CAPITALISM is kinda neat, but nothing to rave about.
