Bulldog Film Distribution has served up a spicy new trailer for K-SHOP, a darkly comedic film that viewers in the UK will be able to check out in select theatres and on VOD this Friday, July 22nd. Or 22nd July, if you prefer.

Written and directed by Dan Pringle, K-SHOP has the following synopsis:

After his father is killed in an altercation with drunken thugs, Salah's world is plunged into darkness. Forced into running the family kebab shop alone, Salah struggles to manage the increasingly rowdy night life and when a fight with an angry customer goes fatally wrong, he finds himself with a dead body on his hands. With no faith in the authorities Salah disposes of the body in the one place he knows best… the kebabs. As the shop's gullible customers devour the new recipe, Salah develops a taste for the kill and seizes the opportunity to turn vigilante and seek revenge on the abusive drunkards plaguing the streets.

Ziad Abaza, Scot Williams, Darren Morfitt, Reece Noi, Kristin Atherton, Ewen MacIntosh, Harry Reid, and Chris Wright star.

Over the years, there have been a lot of stories told about business owners who serve up human meat to unsuspecting customers – THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE, BLOOD FEAST, SWEENEY TODD, BLOOD DINER, THE UNDERTAKER AND HIS PALS, and many more. Judging by the trailer, K-SHOP is going to be a fine addition to this branch of the horror genre.
