Campbell burns

I don’t like TV. I never have really. But there are some shows that I’ll tune into just for a specific actor, – say Ray Liotta or Vincent D’Onofrio. Well, I guess I can put “the chin” back in that category because it looks like Bruce Campbell is coming back to television. Campbell will be starring in the new USA TV show BURN NOTICE, which airs Thursdays at 10pm.

While skimming channels for highlights of my beloved Oakland Athletics, I’ve caught a couple promos for BURN NOTICE and it doesn’t look half bad. It seems to have just enough comedic aspects sprinkled into the TV action that only USA could provide.

The show stars Jefferey Donavan ( BLAIR WITCH 2) as an government agent named Michael Westen who has just been cut loose. His assets are frozen and his name is put on government watch lists so he can never work again. Michael hooks up with Campbell’s character Sam Axe, a former colleague now retired and living the good life on Miami’s South Beach.

BURN NOTICE takes place on Miami beach, right? Can I expect to see sights like this?…
