Cam Gigandet’s penis turns evil in the trailer for Bad Johnson

Working at this website, we are inundated daily with new movie information surrounding all sorts of projects, big and small. A lot of times we don’t have the time or ability to report on them even if they are deserving of being recognized by our readers. But, sometimes, a project just cannot be ignored. Keep in mind, I am not saying it means it is good, just that you have to see it to believe it exists.

BAD JOHNSON starring Cam Gigandet and Jamie Chung is the sort of movie you may stumble across on Netflix or Redbox and give a shot on a weekend when you have nothing else to watch. It fits into the category of sex comedy and stars a couple of good looking young actors that means it cannot be all bad, right? Then you learn it is about a man whose penis turns evil. Yeah, now you have to watch it.

In BAD JOHNSON, women are practically throwing themselves at Rich (Cam Gigandet/ “Twilight,” “Easy A”) and he can’t seem to control himself. But he continually blames his penis, which seems to have a mind of its own. After ruining yet another promising relationship with Jamie (Jamie Chung/ “The Hangover II & III”), Rich has finally had enough and wishes his penis would just leave him alone. The next morning, Rich wakes up to find his wish has come true and his johnson is no longer on his body. Even worse, Rich is shocked to discover that his penis has taken human form (Nick Thune). Selfish, oversexed and irresponsible, his penis is now on the loose with no desire to return. Pitted against his alter ego, Rich must figure out how to reign in his penis, both literally and figuratively, in order to finally learn what separates the men from their boys.

Believe me when I say this movie doesn’t look all that good, but how many films can you think of about evil penises? I can think of about three, but I also watch too many movies. The concept is just batshit crazy enough to make me interested despite the mediocre trailer.

BAD JOHNSON hits theaters on May 2nd, 2014.
