Bryan Cranston will do anything to protect his son in first Your Honor clip

Some parents will do anything to protect their children, even if that means distorting the truth about an unfortunate, life-ending crime.

Showtime today debuted the first clip for YOUR HONOR, a ten-part series executive produced by THE GOOD FIGHT duo Robert and Michelle King and THE NIGHT OF's Peter Moffat. The series stars Bryan Cranston as an affluent judge whose son is involved in a hit-and-run in New Orleans that leads to a high-stakes game of lies, deceit and impossible choices.

Joining Cranston for the nail-biting legal drama are Hunter Doohan as Cranston's son, Adam Desatio, Michael Stuhlbarg as crime boss Jimmy Baxter, with Sofia Black D’Elia, Carmen Ejogo, Isiah Whitlock Jr., and Hope Davis also starring. Additionally, Margo Martindale plays Senator Elizabeth Guthrie, the mother of the deceased wife of Cranston’s Michael Desiato, while Amy Landecker, Lilli Kay, Tony Curran, Keith Machekanyanga, Lamar Johnson and Benjamin Flores, Jr. also appear as a part of the spiraling saga.

In addition to leading the series, Cranston also executive produces. The series was adapted from the Israeli series Kvodo, created by Ron Ninio and Shlomo Mashiach, which is produced by Ram Landes. Moffat acts as showrunner for YOUR HONOR, in addition to writing several episodes and executive producing.

As your attorney, I advise you to bring a stress ball to the viewing of YOUR HONOR, as the show looks to be nerve-racking as all get out.

YOUR HONOR is currently listed as "Coming Soon" on Showtime's official website, but we'll be sure to let you know when you can check it out.
