We reported on the darkly humorous suburban thriller HOLLAND, MICHIGAN last year when Naomi Watts (below) was pegged to star in the film as a teacher who begins to suspect that her docile husband is a serial killer. The Wrap is now reporting that her serial killer husband to be is none other than "Breaking Bad's" Bryan Cranston (above) who will undoubtedly fill the role of a killer perfectly. Also joining Watts and Cranston is Edgar Ramirez in Errol Morris’ feature directorial debut.
The script, which is said to have a "Fargo-esque" tone, topped the 2013 Black List and was penned by Andrew Sodroski. Here's what we know about the plot:
HOLLAND, MICHIGAN centers on a woman who suspects her husband is cheating. She begins an affair of her own as revenge, but she eventually discovers that her husband is actually a serial killer.
John Lesher and Adam Kassan will produce for Le Grisbi Productions along with Sean Murphy, who brought the project into the company. Production will start this spring.
