Bruce Willis is set to be Comedy Central’s next celebrity Roast event

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

Welcome to the party, pal! Comedy Central has announced that DIE HARD, THE FIFTH ELEMENT, and TWELVE MONKEYS actor Bruce Willis is set to become the latest celebrity to occupy the channel's hot seat, as the legendary action star prepares to endure a meteor shower's-worth of insults from friends, collegues, and at least a few comedians he's likely to have never met. The slanderous celebration of Willis will be filmed in Los Angeles with an airdate that has yet to be unveiled.

“This ain’t the first time I’ll be tied to a chair and held hostage by a group of humorless assholes for a couple hours,” says Bruce Willis about being invited to be the subject of Comedy Central's next celebrity Roast. Which are fine words to hear, as it often takes a thick skin to withstand a traditional Comedy Central Roast, and come out laughing on the other side. Plus, as is tradition, Willis will have his own opportunity to fire back at his guests, once they've taken him down several pegs in front of a live audience.

“Bruce has survived terrorists, Armageddon, romance and death itself. Yet, nothing has prepared him for this Roast,” said Kent Alterman, President, Comedy Central.

If you could hurl one playful insult at Bruce Willis, without the fear of retribution, what would it be? Let us know in the comments section below, and we'll be sure to update you when the release date for this hilariously momentous event is set to take place.
