Bruce Willis, Dave Bautista & others set for action thriller Marauders

Bruce Willis recently dropped out of Woody Allen's new film because of his commitment to the upcoming Broadway take on Stephen King's Misery, but apparently he still has room on his schedule for an action movie role. Deadline has learned that the actor has been cast in MARAUDERS, an action thriller from Steven C. Miller, Willis' EXTRACTION director. The film will also star Dave Bautista, Christopher Meloni, Lydia Hull (EMPIRE STATE), Tyler Olson (THE PRINCE), Christopher Rob Bowen (EXTRACTION), and Danny A. Abeckaser (THE ICEMAN).

Here's the synopsis, per Deadline:

An FBI agent is on the trail of bank robbers who give the stolen loot to charity. As he delves further into the investigation, the lawman discovers the trail of secrets that the owner of a bank – played by Willis – has protected.

Miller will direct from a script by Michael Cody and ALL CHEERLEADERS DIE writer and director Chris Sivertson, and filming will begin later this month in Ohio.

Willis' ROCK THE KASBAH opens on October 23rd, while Bautista can be seen next as Mr. Hinx in Sam Mendes' SPECTRE on November 6th.
