How is it possible that Ash vs. Evil Dead is turning out to be everything that 80's pre-teens imagined it would be? Either there's a vast time travel conspiracy going on or we're on the wrong end of an apocalyptic marketing disaster. This new image from the Starz network shows off the chainsaw in all its gleaming glory and just how damn good Bruce Campbell is looking for freaking 57 years old. 

In Ash vs. Evil Dead:

Ash, the stock boy, aging lothario and chainsaw-handed monster hunter, has spent the last 30 years avoiding responsibility, maturity and the terrors of the Evil Dead. When a Deadite plague threatens to destroy all of mankind, Ash is finally forced to face his demons –personal and literal. Destiny, it turns out, has no plans to release the unlikely hero from its “Evil” grip.”

With a cast rounded out by Lucy Lawless, Mimi Rogers, and Jill Marie Jones, the first season of ASH VS. EVIL DEAD is set to run for ten half-hour episodes, premiering on October 31, 2015. Sam Raimi directed the first episode from a script he wrote with Ivan Raimi, Tom Spezialy, and your childhood dreams.
