Bring out the big guns! Two new posters for Escape Plan with Stallone and Schwarzenegger!

The action team-up we've been waiting decades for has arrived with ESCAPE PLAN, putting action gods Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger together in the same film for the first time (minus those cameos in THE EXPENDABLES, of course). Today, we have two new posters for the film, one with a floating head motif and the other with some nicely balanced big gun appeal. It's exciting just to see these two guys finally together on the big screen, so even a simple poster can get me buzzing. The film was previewed at Comic Con this year and word is that both stars deliver, with Schwarzenegger stealing the show.

Being a "child of the '80's," these guys' films were my bread and butter, so I'm all in for ESCAPE PLAN. It certainly helps that the film looks really cool and has a high-concept feel to it, much like their films of old. Some are still lamenting the return of these action legends on the big screen, but for me it feels like they're getting in one lash hurrah before their bodies simply won't allow it anymore. I say keep on keepin' on.
