Brie Larson, Tessa Thompson & more unite for one great Marvel photo

By now you've probably seen Vanity Fair's rather epic photo-shoot celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. An impressive number of heroes from the history of the franchise took part, but writer/producer Craig Kyle snagged one photo for himself (well, for his daughter) which really should have been included. Featuring many of the women of the MCU, the photo unites Zoe Saldana (GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY), Tessa Thompson (THOR: RAGNAROK), Brie Larson (CAPTAIN MARVEL), Scarlett Johansson (CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR), Danai Gurira (BLACK PANTHER), Karen Gillan (GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY), Evangeline Lilly (ANT-MAN AND THE WASP), and Pom Klementieff (GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2).

Would have been great had they all been in costume, but still an impressive lineup. Last month, THOR: RAGNAROK's Tessa Thompson revealed that she, along with several other of Marvel's female stars, approached Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige at an event and said, "What about a movie with some female super heroes? Like all of them?" Kevin Feige replied, "It was a pretty amazing moment to be somewhere and have your shoulder get tapped and turn around every female hero we have is standing there going, 'How about it?' And I said, 'Yes.'" It's not confirmed, but that conversation may very well have taken place at the Vanity Fair event. No telling whether one of the twenty movies Marvel has in development to follow AVENGERS 4 will include a team-up film starring the women of Marvel, but it would certainly be pretty amazing to see all of them on screen at once.

We've got a few Marvel flicks in store next year, including BLACK PANTHER on February 16, 2018, AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR on May 4, 2018, and ANT-MAN AND THE WASP on July 6, 2018.
