Just a week after his widely publicized split from Adult Swim over a sexism controversy, Brett Gelman has already found another gig. He is the latest cast member to join Netflix's Stranger Things season 2, which is currently in production under the nostalgic tutelage of the Duffer Brothers.
Gelman will be joining the cast as Murray Bauman, "a disgraced journalist-turned-conspiracy theorist who is investigating a cold case in Hawkins." Intriguing… Something tells me his character will be pivotal in the introduction of a brand new sci-fi tinged plot.
Stranger Things season 2 will also star Sean Astin, Paul Reiser, Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Charlie Heaton, Cara Buono, Matthew Modine, Natalia Dyer, Dacre Montgomery, Linnea Berthelsen Sadie Sink, Joe Keery, and Noah Schnapp.
Season 2 will premiere on Netflix in 2017.
