With its upcoming Crisis on Infinite Earths mega-crossover, The CW will be bringing Supergirl, Batwoman, The Flash, Arrow, and Legends of Tomorrow together, but they will also be bringing in characters from across the DC Universe, including several incarnations of Superman. In addition to Tyler Hoechlin, who plays the Man of Steel on Supergirl, the five-part crossover will also feature Smallville's Tom Welling and SUPERMAN RETURNS' Brandon Routh.
Production on the Crisis on Infinite Earths series has been underway for a week, and Brandon Routh posted another image on Instagram which gives us a look at Tyler Hoechlin and himself suited up in front of a Daily Planet sign.
As I mentioned above, Crisis on Infinite Earths will also feature Tom Welling, who played the role of Clark Kent for ten seasons on Smallville. Erica Durance, who played Lois Lane on Smallville, is also set to reprise her role as well. Further guest-stars include Kevin Conroy as Bruce Wayne, Jon Cryer as Lex Luther, Johnathon Schaech as Jonah Hex, Bitsie Tulloch as Lois Lane, LaMonica Garrett as the Monitor, and Ashley Scott as Huntress, with Black Lightning's Cress Williams, The Flash's John Wesley Shipp, and Batman's Burt Ward also set to make appearances.
The Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover will begin with Supergirl on December 8th, before continuing with Batwoman on December 9th, The Flash on December 10th, and will take a break until the new year when it picks up with Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow on January 14, 2020. I haven't watched any of these shows, but even I'm kind of excited to see all these Supermen sharing the screen. I might just have to check it out.
