Review:
Boy oh boy, what happened here, folks?! I used to LOVE the “Kids in the Hall” TV show and always thought that each of the “kids” were funny in their own right, but this movie was JUST NOT FUNNY!

And you can’t really blame anyone other than the kids themselves since it’s their names on the screenplay. Sure the direction was a little over-the-top and the production looked more like a TV show than an actual movie, but in the end, none of that would really have mattered if the script had been funny, but alas, no laughs came.

Actually, I won’t lie. There was ONE very funny scene featuring an ungrateful son coming home from X-Mas and walking around the living room for about 30 seconds and then leaving, but other than the odd funny one-liner, the rest of the movie tanked.

If anybody knows what happened with this film, I would love some insight. There ain’t much more I can say about this film. It was supposed to be a comedy, but it just wasn’t funny. End of story. I did enjoy the “kids” playing dress-up as usual though.

Stars Dave Foley, Bruce McCulloch, Kevin McDonald, Mark McKinney and Scott Thompson
